The Exfax fax machine design combines the legacy fax, plus modem add-on into a convenient integrated solution. The Exfax modem or eFaxLink component is housed inside the fax machine and the local modem-fax phone line connection is completed internally. The unit provides Internet fax and V.90 modem features in addition to the standard multi-function fax (scan/print) features, but at much lower cost. The Exfax fax machine is connected to the PC via serial cable and provides full modem capabilities to the PC as well as email@fax software features. The simplicity of our engineering solution enables superior features but at a far lower cost than traditional multi-function fax units.
